NEW YEAR DAY

NEW YEAR DAY

Year’s end is not the end,

Of highway of thy existence,

Or beginning of year is not a key episode,

It is simply an end of a precise period,

From where strands of good experiences,

Ought to be collated and made compact,

So that thy grip on elusive ‘time’,

May not turn slippery,

And fly away,

Resulting frittering in energy,

By thy slackening mind-set,

Or idle chatter.

Last day of the past year,

Or first year of the New Year,

Will dawn with same timekeeping,

Ought not be lost in daydreaming,

Nobody will salvage thy boat,

If encircled by tempest,

Ye’ve to take command of thy oars,

To steer clear of the situation thyself,

No New Year Day or wishful idea will rescue thee,

Mere thyself have to weather the storm,

By thy steely resolve.

O Creator of Universe,

With all the enchanting beauties created,

Beings, Vales, Hills, Rivulets, Flowery Meadows, et al,

Create our everyday lively,

And make this earth worth living,

A better place to breathe,

Free of fear for everyone alike,

Where no brave-heart like  ‘Nirbhaya’ (fearless) turns into ‘Bhaya’ (fear),

And meets her/his man-inflicted untimely end,

Where no one cowers in fright,

Ever and ever – day and night,

So that we have not to wait,

The NEW YEAR DAY

For a peaceful leaving.

Christmas Day Gift

Christmas Day Gift

Our Creator sends,

The Super Souls,

With Mastery in Spiritual-Vision,

For transforming,

And reforming His creations,

So that world-weary practices,

Which corrupt the society at large,

Are weeded out,

From our midst,

And adopt the ones,

Woven by our Lord,

Wth sprinkle of enchanting-plentiful Love.

He was sent to us,

For our wellbeing,

So that the rust formed by time,

Could be erased by mystifying spray of pious ideals and ideas,

Which the Super Soul doles out,

For the gentry at large,

Many may shirk,

Thinking these ideas to be far-fetched,

As many did,

When Lord Jesus was with us,

In flesh and blood,

For which He had to suffer pangs,

For us all,

And finally resurrection,

To make us realize that,

The True Son of Lord cannot be done away,

By anybody – however powerful,

He is and His Ideas,

Will always remain enlightening us,

Through Christ Consciousness.

O Lord, bestow us Thy Invaluable CHRISTMAS DAY GIFT,

The precious of all Thy Gifts,

That Thou can only grant,

The coveted gift of peaceful coexistence,

So that this world could be a better place to live,

Where everybody remains unharmed.

If you have something to give to your people around, may be in the form of knowledge, your possessions, your good wll, share those with others and see how peaceful you’ll feel in your life. Your day will be spent joyfully – but expecting little in return. And see what a difference it will make.

INNER THOUGHTS

MIND THY MIND

Let mind be thy servant,

When you’re holding its strings,

Bridle properly thy mind,

Or else, in the dire strait you’ll find,

It will become thy master,

For it is a heady horse,

May take thee to a slippery path,

And ditch thee in a ditch,

From where no return is in sight.

Mind exercises control over our five senses,

And if sense control by it is at the expense,

Of your own self esteem,

Then thou fail to earn realization,

Of the sixth-sense – intuition

And that would be,

A be all and end all.

Ye coach it to act in a manner,

That it functions,

According to your innate demands,

Good for thee and people around,

Train it,

And, if need be, with coercive or persuasive tactics.

If it goes berserk then thy Creator is only thy savior!

When it controls thee,

MIND THY MIND

Good for thee and people around,

Train it,

And, if need be, with coercive or persuasive tactics.

If it goes berserk then thy Creator is only thy savior!

When it controls thee,

It holds thee by thy subtle horns,

And stretches thee to a limit,

Where coming back is hard.

Though mind is watchdog of our day-to-day working,

But it may rather bite thee sometimes,

Putting to peril your life and earned standing,

Oh,  our Creator come to our rescue,

Help us mind our mind,

For good of me and people around.
