OUR THOUGHTS & KARMA

OUR THOUGHTS & KARMA

IF WE WANT TO LIVE HAPPILY, WE’VE TO HAVE A POSITIVE ATTITUDE

Karma used simply is termed as action
Factually when we get a joy in action
Karma could be used mystically
Following this path we get inner peace & prosperity
And establishes God connectivity.

Any act done with sincerity
And with love overflowing in plenty
Will bestow us internal satiety
Since it is positive in its orientation.

Depending on our behavior and attitude with which we perform our action
At the levels of body, mind and energy generation
And while transacting such action
Leaving behind certain residue
Which impacts our body, mind and soul.

THERE ARE LIGHT AND DARKNESS IN OUR PATH BUT WE HAVE TO PERFORM RIGHTEOUS KARMA

Daily actions of ours hardly means good Karma
Like acts of giving alms
In public glare
To showcase of being a great generous donor
Will be considered as a shrouded Karmic deed.

Our five senses – touch, hear, taste, smell, sight and smell
Remain collecting data from sources external
And that too at every moment that we live.

Then we’re literally attacked
With stimulus at every moment
Thence these become voluminous
Since sense impressions bond as one
And assume a certain distinctive pattern within our system.

Thereafter these typical patterns slowly but surely
Shape our behavioral tendency
Which after sometime becomes
A group of tendencies
Which we term as our personality characteristics
Which actually is our own true natural-self.

WE’VE TO PERFORM OUR KARMA ANYWAY

This also becomes our way of living
By which we behave and belief system
Form our manner, attitude or approach to any situation and condition
Whatever we believe with conviction
Becomes a reality, if we transact action
Based on the belief system we espouse
In fact an orientation of our life and living with confidence
By removing the roadblocks that we’ve to surmount during our journey of our existence.

Literally we are the architects of all these ways of living thru Karma
Surprisingly, all this happens in relative unawareness
But all the same, it all happens
Showing what we pick-up from the outer-world of ours, we absorb
And by imbibing goodness & doing Karma thus, we become happy
And unhappy by doing Ku-Karma.

Factually what we’re today
Is the result of add-on actions (Karmic deeds) of days gone by
Which form our habits, desires, aims, intentions
Without even conscious effort made on our part!

Karma is an old story
You have written yourself only
Which has stuck in your system lasting for years
Sometimes knowingly and other time unknowingly.

EVERY DAY IS NOT FLOWERY – WE’VE TO TAKE IN WHATEVER COMES IN OUR LIFE

Karma means a plan of action that we have done
Or blueprint created which lasts with us
Everybody is responsible for his/her karma
Means everybody is responsible for his/her life.

It should be kept in mind
That Karma is not a natural law
Or a law which has been imposed on us from above
It is the natural basis of all our existence
It is also true that we all are responsible for our Karma or action
Good actions lead to wellness
And bad actions give us unpleasant results
Meaning what we’re today is the results of our past Karmic deeds.

Karma is a internal cycle created by our own self
These internal patterns are not oppressing you from outside
But from innermost convictions in our being while we transact our Karma
No compromise means no negativity
Compromise and face difficulty.

We may be anywhere and at any time and space
But internally we’re at our original self
The same mental reactions
The same psychological tendencies
The same behavior pattern which we have made with our own preferences.

LIGHT MAY BE LURKING IN THE HORIZON BUT WE HAVE TO SEEK IT ANYHOW BY OUR GOOD KARMA

Then there exists coded karmic information
In our system
In a varieties of cycles
The largest cycle runs for some period of time
Wherein we lead a healthy existence
Abounding in happiness
But as the cycle decreases
Our life becomes gradually more imbalanced
Then a cycle less than one month – termed as the lunar cycle period
Resultant mentally deranged state of mind.

Not breaking pattern in our Karmic deeds
Nothing new happens as we go on in our lives
And the person unconsciously senses
A downward slide in our state of mind and senses.

POSITIVE THOUGHTS LEADS TO POSITIVITY IN OUR LIVES

With continuing Yogic exercises
We can maintain the solar cycle
Which assure our stability and balance
We may not change what we transacted in the past
In the form of credit or debit
In mental and emotional Karma
But we can keep our cycle either in tact
Or maybe we can have slightly less changes
In the present and future cycles
Acting negatively takes away the positive aspects from our account
Our karmic deeds when are positively oriented
Then we add together good karma
Thereby, making us the master of destiny of our own.

  1. It is our Karma which makes or mars our life. Righteous Karma leads to happiness and bad one leads to disappointments.

Do appraise the poem and comment.

  2. Beside the three karmic types:

    1. “Sanchit” means “which are stored as yet,” not fructified. So suchlike karmas, you see, from hundreds of births back, are just in store, not yet touched for reaction.”

In India at the time of the Pandavas, there was one Dhritarashtra. He was a great yogi but blind from birth. Lord Krishna asked him, “You are blind from your very birth. What caused it? What karma have you incurred, the result of which you are blind from birth?”

And he told him, “By yogic power I know up to one hundred births back; and I have found no action the result of which I would be blind.”

Lord Krishna, who was a yogishwar, just gave him help to go back still further. And he found that in his 106th birth back he had done the action which resulted in his present blindness.

Miind that there are akashic records, you see. Whatever we speak, whatever we think, that is recorded in the akash. Those who can read those records, they can give you statements made hundreds of births back.

Some karma bears fruit very quickly; others, a little later; others, very long. Take the example of the courts. There are small cause courts, there are high courts, and there are privy council courts. Is it not so? Ordinary cases are settled in weeks or a month or so. Cases intricate take months to decide in high courts. And there are other cases of a very intricate nature; they take years to decide in privy council. You follow my point? So we incur action and reaction daily. They are bearing forth fruit: some quickly, some later, some still later. As in the case of Dhritarashtra I quoted you: he was reaping the fruit of karma incurred 106 births back.

    2. Kriyaman karma we reap in this life; the remaining is transferred to the Sanchit karma. Karma is the cause of rebirth; and each birth is, in turn, followed by death. There the cycle of enjoyment and suffering results. Some are happy; some are not happy. So, “as you think, so you become.” Ignorance of the law is no excuse, mind that. We say we don’t know, but what we have sown, we must reap. Whether we sow good actions or bad actions – both are binding. Handcuffs or chains may be made of iron or gold; but they are equally binding. These karmic laws are difficult to understand; but if we follow what I am telling you, we can save our life, our coming down to the earth.

    3. The Pralabdha karma is not touched. It is a result of that karma that we have got the present life. If Saints touch this, then the life will end; the very moment a Saint touches the Pralabdha karma, the life will end! So he does not touch it because it is the cause of the physical body, which would vanish due to interference in nature’s law.

    – There is another Karma-type called Neh Karma: This is when we have fully surrendered to the God-power, live in His will, do and die for Him – then we are no longer responsible for what we do, think and say – then those “reactions” do not bear fruit anymore: neither in a good way, nor a in bad way. Then we are no longer the doer (only the ego in us is thinks it is the doer) – the real Doer is Him, is the God living in each human heart.

    1. Karma, as I understand starts from the inception of thought process to the actual action or Karma based on such thought. Therefore, need is to be careful about that thought otherwise our Karma will not match our intended course which otherwise we want adopting. While Karma depends on our mind and its control. No control over our mind means no control over our thought process thereby losing intended track. Thanks and regards.
